Hi there! I know it's been a long time since my last journal, and I don't know if anyone reads these things, but I thought it was about time to give an update on what I've been working on over the past few months. Since I ended up with some time on my hands I decided to sit down and really work on fleshing out a world I've been working on for quite some time. There's a lot of details about it I've already put down on paper, but I never really hammered out the specifics about the planet or where it is or anything like that and it's something that's been bothering me while I've been working on the rest of it. I got out of the habit of doing art just for the fun of it when I started getting busy these last few years, working on non-art degrees. It's honestly done me no favors, as I have learned that the art I used to do was helping me to unwind and figure things out, and helping a lot with my stress levels. I'm hoping to start again and to do things that help reduce my stress instead of taking an art class right now. Hopefully, it's a habit I can form over the summer and will therefore be able to continue it when classes start up again in the fall. I recently began a project which I have been planning out for awhile now. All of the pieces will be linked to from this journal so they can be easily found down the road. For lack of a better name I am calling it "Suits" although a more accurate name might be "Suits, Dresses, and the Beasts that Wear Them". Suits just seemed to fit better. Anyway, it's a project focusing on different time periods and the skulls of different animals. I plan to do one male, one female, one child and one group image for each time period I am working on. Many of them will be ACEOs on trading card sized pieces of Bristol or illustration board. I like to work sm
